How much does a boiler upgrade cost in Ireland?
A standard A-rated combi boiler upgrade with full installation by Revolution Gas starts from €2,600 + VAT. The final price depends on the brand, output size, and any pipework modifications needed. We provide a fixed written quote before any work starts — no hidden costs.
Is there a grant available for a new boiler in Ireland?
SEAI does not currently offer a grant for gas boiler replacements. However, if you are upgrading from an old oil or solid fuel system to a gas boiler, you may be eligible under the Warmer Homes Scheme. Heat pump installations qualify for a separate SEAI grant of up to €6,500. Revolution Gas can advise on the best route for your home.
Which boiler brands do you install?
We install and recommend Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Ideal, and Viessmann — all A-rated brands with strong parts availability and manufacturer warranties. We'll recommend the right brand and output for your home size and hot water demand during the free survey.
How long does a boiler replacement take?
Most like-for-like combi boiler replacements are completed in one day. If pipework upgrades, a new flue route, or a system conversion are required, it may take two days. We confirm the timeline in your quote and work to minimise disruption.
Do you offer a guarantee on the installation?
Yes — Revolution Gas provides a 2-year workmanship guarantee on all installations, on top of the manufacturer's warranty (typically 7–12 years depending on the brand and registration). All work is RGII-certified, which is required by most home insurance policies.
